To be recognised. To be rewarded. To be more than a passenger. To belong
Explore the tiers and see what it means to be a Member of the Executive Club.
To be a Blue Member
To belong to Blue is to earn Avios whenever you fly with us or shop with our partners. It’s having the ability to spend what you’ve collected on rewards flights, hotel stays and car rental. Along with having seat and meal preferences remembered, you hear about our exclusive offers first. And with the British Airways smartphone app, everything you need to glide through the airport is at your fingertips.
To be a Bronze Member
To belong to Bronze is to receive all the benefits of Blue, and to be given more. It’s choosing your seat seven days in advance and earning 25% bonus Avios on flights with us. You also enjoy priority check-in and boarding, no matter what cabin you’re in – giving you more time to relax or shop before you board.
To be a Silver Member
To belong to Silver is to choose your seat from the moment you book and to earn double Avios whenever you fly. It’s being given additional baggage allowance and the use of Fast Track security. It’s sharing the luxury of a lounge with a guest, the perfect place to unwind and prepare for your flight.
To be a Gold Member
To belong to Gold is to enjoy the Club's most exceptional benefits. It’s to use First check-in and to indulge in our First lounge with a guest. It’s receiving a massage in our Elemis Spa and having your favourite seat waiting for you when you board.
To be rewarded for a lifetime of membership
We want you to know how much your membership means to us – past, present and future. So from now on, every single Tier Point you’ve ever earned will go towards your Lifetime Tier Points balance, which will help unlock even more valuable rewards.

Height Cuisine. It’s great on the ground, but even better in the air.
Altitude, cabin pressure and humidity all have a significant effect on flavour. The ability to smell and taste can be reduced by up to 30%, our sense of bitterness increases and the subtlety of more delicate flavours can be all but lost.
That’s why we created Height Cuisine. In consultation with chefs and scientists, we set about planning a menu for food and wine designed to maximise taste at altitude.
Explore the videos below to see how we did it. Or book a flight and experience Height Cuisine for yourself.
